Planting Saplings in Hamidiye Forest with Bozüyük Youth
On November 18, 2023, within the scope of the social responsibility project carried out under the leadership of ERFEY, the sapling planting event organized in Hamidiye Forest with the youth of our Bozüyük district attracted great attention. This meaningful organization was implemented with the aim of increasing environmental awareness and protecting green areas. ERFEY organized this project in order to encourage a life in harmony with nature and to leave a healthier environment for future generations within the scope of social responsibility. The sapling planting, which took place with the active participation of young people, not only increased environmental awareness but also exhibited a beautiful example of social solidarity. The organization also aimed to strengthen young people’s ties with nature and support them in adopting sustainable lifestyles. The event was recorded as a day in which hundreds of young people from high schools and local youth groups in Bozüyük showed great interest. While Hamidiye Forest is known for its natural beauty and biological diversity, such projects also make a significant contribution to the protection and expansion of the forest. ERFEY officials explained the technical details of planting saplings to the youth, provided them with correct planting methods and basic information about plant care. At the beginning of the event, a short speech was made, drawing attention to environmental problems and the effects of climate change. Speakers emphasized how important sapling planting is for the local ecosystem, and stated that each sapling will contribute to the growth of the forest and the reduction of carbon emissions in the future.
