Developing Competencies and Collaborations in the Machinery Manufacturing Industry
General Purpose of the Project: Developing cooperation between the sector and vocational education in the machinery manufacturing industry in Düzce province, sharing the current competencies needed by the industry and the technological infrastructure necessary for the acquisition of these competencies with vocational education, developing these competencies in learners and conducting joint studies to establish the technological infrastructure, increasing the technological capacity of vocational education and working To contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the Eastern Marmara region by improving the knowledge and skills of current and potential employees in order to improve efficiency.
Specific Purpose of the Project: With this project, in the machinery manufacturing industry sector in Düzce; 1-Determining the current qualifications needed with a qualification determination scale to be prepared and sharing them with the Sectoral Advisory Board to be formed from the representatives of the vocational education and sector, and determining the steps that will ensure the transfer of the necessary technological infrastructure investments and necessary training programs to vocational education for the acquisition of these competencies, at the Sectoral Advisory Board meetings and survey Strengthening the cooperation between vocational education and the industry through the creation of a digital platform to share the results and the summaries of the decisions taken by the advisory board with all relevant stakeholders, other equipment and purchasing up-to-date training programs to strengthen the infrastructure of vocational education and vocational education program software. By contributing to the training of qualified human resources consisting of educational personnel and students in the machinery manufacturing industry by developing the training curriculum for the development of social skills that will increase the work efficiency of existing and potential employees in the machinery manufacturing sector; It is aimed to increase the quality of vocational education, to create a qualified human capital structure and to contribute to the development of a culture of cooperation between institutions by ensuring coordination between the labor market in the machinery manufacturing industry and vocational education institutions in the Eastern Marmara region.
